Greetings from the Godfather! This will be a busy summer. We are building a house in Oklahoma, building relationships in Dallas and hosting networking events in multiple cities.
In May, we’ll have Movie Night at the Brenden Theaters in Las Vegas. Come check out Chronicles of Narnia with 300 of your closest friends! The following week will be a CIO Mixer at Hollywood Park and a Godfather "Sit Down" at House of Blues West Hollywood.
In June there will be a Godfather "Sit Down" at House of Blues Dallas. After the first two events sold out 15 seats, I had to track down a room that would hold 25! We’ll be back at the San Diego Yacht Club with host Steven Cantrell (won the America’s Cup) in July, then job over to Del Mar for a CIO Mixer in August. We just love Del Mar!

The Godfather is in the house! We’ll have our first "sit down" in Dallas during March. Since I’m spending a portion of my time in Oklahoma these days, it will be great to connect with a few of the Dallas movers and shakers. There is no better venue than the House of Blues Foundation Room, a members-only club in the heart of the city. My old buddy Tony Lee (formerly HOB Anahem) just happens to be the Sales Manager there. I have invited John Cole of Unisys, Benjamin Kuntz of CareerBuilder and a few new people for an evening of networking and conversation.
During a recent charity auction, The Godfather bought one of the Brendan Theaters for a night. This will be a “client only” event, so come out and watch a movie with 200 of your closest friends. Includes popcorn and a Coke!
The Godfather will be the guest speaker for the Southern Nevada Human Resources Association in March. The topic is “The Godfather’s Career Guide – What to do if you Get Whacked!” Great networking event for HR professionals!
